What You Do With It Matters

At some point today, this week or this term, someone will say something critical about your work, your choices or your behaviour. It might come from a teacher, a parent, a teammate or a friend. It might be delivered kindly or harshly, fairly or unfairly.

How you receive criticism has a direct impact on your learning, your relationships and your confidence. The students who grow fastest are not those who never get criticised. They are the ones who have learned what to do with it.

This section is about building that skill. Not becoming someone who accepts everything without question, but someone who can hear difficult things, stay composed and decide thoughtfully what to do next.

"Feedback is a gift. Ideas are the currency of our next success. Let people see you value both improvements and new ideas."
